02: Creativity

It takes a certain amount of space and freedom to be creative. Physical space and freedom, but more importantly, mental space and freedom. The one thing all creative people have in common is that they create; thus, we can conclude that to be creative is to simply start creating.

Not all humans are born with a Frank Lloyd Wright level of creativity. However, we all have the ability to cultivate the imagination in our minds, to let that blossom into a garden in which to roam around rather than a dead ficus we avoid.

With the freedom that you will find in creating, there also comes a responsibility. This is yours. Your work, your idea, your reputation. You can view that as terrifying, or a privilege: to own what you make. The choice is up to you. I encourage you to choose the excitement over the fear.
